The top ten PS5 games available right now

9. Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut

Ghost of Tsushima for PS5 is worth playing, even if you played it on PS4. The PS5 version adds 4K visuals at 60fps, DualSense, and 3D Audio support. The Director's Cut adds the Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island addition, a great new side-story. You'll discover more about Jin, meet new friends (and foes), and enjoy new side content, including cute creatures. It has become a top PS5 game.

8. Sackboy: A Big Adventure

Perfect platformer with surprises and charm. In Sackboy: A Big Adventure, our hero visits numerous planets to stop the villainous Vex's ambitions and has fun along the way. The game looks like a party in a craft store and has innovative level design, such as sticky feet to climb walls, music-synchronized stages, and boomerangs and grappling hooks. You can earn bells in the game to buy new Sackboy clothes, from cuddly tigers to punk witch mountaineers. It shows in every secret area, inventive enemy, and piece of fluff

7. Returnal

Returnal isn't for everyone, but it shows off the PS5's tech and graphics. This roguelike is beautiful and hard. It's everything magnificent, if a little dreary, from the haptic feedback of Atropos' rain to the visual splendour of neon against a monochromatic backdrop. When you die in Returnal, the circle continues again with Selene trying to figure out what's going on on this alien planet.

6. The Last of Us Part 1

The Last of Us Part 1 remaster brings Naughty Dog's action-adventure to PS5. The remake lets you relive or discover Joel and Ellie's journey with modernised mechanics, improved controls, and a complete reworking of the game's graphics, including facial animations, effects, and more.

5. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a great PS5 game for two reasons. It's the best Ratchet and Clank experience yet, with our heroes taking us on a fascinating voyage with new pals, and a spectacular demonstration of the PS5's capabilities. Doctor Nefarious stole the Dimensionator and tore apart dimensions. Ratchet and Clank are blasted through time and space and need Rivet's help to reassemble the cosmos.

4. Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, you're in. This is FromSoftware's best game since Dark Souls, bringing its gameplay to an open environment. It refines, adapts, and tweaks the recipe to make masochistic agony enjoyable.

3. Deathloop

Arkane's latest is a homicidal puzzle box called Deathloop. Deathloop is a PS5 exclusive that plays out differently than expected. Lose yourself trying to eliminate eight targets in a single day as they wander throughout the planet of Black Reef living their lives.

2. Spider-Man: Miles Morales

The next generation of Spider-Man is full of comic book adventure, heart, and swinging through New York. As the spotlight shifts from Peter Parker to Miles Morales, the action moves to Harlem and a new set of superhero dilemmas.

1. Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon Forbidden West has confidence. It's another game about protecting a world from huge robot dinosaurs, but it doesn't need to. Aloy's journey is as captivating as the original game, but with more human elements, new characters, and personality. It has some of the best side missions and more robo-saurs. Plus, it showcases PS5's capability well.
